This is one of the better products for sale, although I do not know if it is made in China or not. If so, I want to know how many chinese use this radio? So far, as I live in the mountains of the North West United States, I have not witnessed it working a whole lot. There just is no traffic on the airwaves where I live, even with the outdoor whip antenna. So, I cannot tell you how it works, 'cause I have never heard anything but weather reports so far. I just make my decision based upon the name of the product. This is why it is necessary to protect your name as often it is all one has to show the world.

I have had a few different CB antennas on my Jeep Wrangler and this one is a keeper. You can tune it very easily and it's very forgiving when it hits the garage. If you buy one that you have to trim to tune, it's much more labor intensive. With this one, you simply twist the screw at the top and you're good to go. This seems to be the most popular CB antenna for the offroader.

Antenna is very durable and works well. Warning: The antenna is very stiff. If you have it mounted on your car, and it hits something, it will not bend much and will break your mount.

Motorola used to sell a Flexible Ear Receiver with a standard earphone plug (3.5mm, I think) that I used with a walkie talkie at work. It fit my ear perfectly, and is adjustable to boot (sorry, Brian, but maybe you're putting it on wrong...). It was about the only thing I could comfortably wear all day (I can't stand having one of those earbuds jammed in my canal). I found it also worked great with my portable radio, CD player, and laptop (mono only, obviously). Unfortunately, Motorola says they don't make that configuration any more. The Receiver shown here is their new model, which has a much smaller (2mm?) plug. If you have compatible equipment, however, this should be a comfortable and useful accessory. It's especially good if you listen more than you talk - I could hear everything with the radio clipped to my belt as I went about my day, and when I picked it up to talk into it, people could tell I was "on the phone."
